Sharon Cabral has been appointed director of sales and marketing for Rosewood Miramar Beach Montecito, which will open in late 2018 as the ultra-luxury collection’s third property in California. In this role, Sharon will be responsible for developing and executing innovative sales and marketing strategies for the hotel.

Sharon joins Rosewood Miramar Beach Montecito with more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry and ten years with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. Most recently, Sharon served as Rosewood’s area director of sales and marketing for Northern California where she was responsible for leading the teams at Rosewood CordeValle and Rosewood Sand Hill and maximizing the brand’s presence in the region. Prior to this role, she served as director of sales and marketing at Rosewood Sand Hill, where she helped generate record-breaking revenue during the property’s opening. Before joining Rosewood Sand Hill in 2008, Sharon served as director of sales and marketing at Omni San Francisco Hotel, assistant director of sales and marketing at Mandarin Oriental San Francisco, and director of suite sales at The Regency, a Loews Hotel in New York City. She began her career in the marketing department at El San Juan Hotel & Casino in Puerto Rico.
