Jeremiah Johnson to lead the global textile company as President

AIKEN, S.C.— March 18, 2020 — Riegel Linen LLC (“Riegel”) announces the hiring of Jeremiah Johnson as President. Johnson brings an extensive background in operations, supply chain management and acquisitions.

“Jeremiah is a great addition to our management team and will be instrumental in helping us make the transition from Mount Vernon Mills to a standalone company,” said Bill Josey, Riegel CEO. “His background will also be important as we grow organically and strategically.”

Chris Gowdy, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, concurred, saying: “Jeremiah has already contributed greatly to our organization and we look forward to many growth opportunities ahead. He has jumped right in by taking charge of our new systems integration and will help us organize our team for the opportunities ahead.”

Previously Johnson served as Vice President of Manufacturing and Global Supply Chain for Custom Molded Products. Prior to that, he was employed by Anisa International as Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and Supply Chain, living in China for four years.

“It’s a true honor to join the Riegel family,” Johnson said. “This company has been making Worry-Free Textiles for some of hospitality’s best hotels and restaurants since 1838. The Riegel name is synonymous with quality in many markets, so when this opportunity presented itself, I jumped at the opportunity to lead this team of highly dedicated hospitality professionals and share in their passion for perfection. 2020 is going to be an exciting year of promise, progress and growth. Riegel will continue to lead the market in product innovation and discover new technical breakthroughs in fiber formation and color retention that thrive in commercial laundering environments.”
