PHOENIX – Thirty Valley women business professionals were recognized April 4 as the Phoenix Business Journal's Outstanding Women in Business and Renie Cavallari was honored among them.

Renie Cavallari, CEO and Chief Instigator of Aspire, was recognized for her achievements at the 2016 Outstanding Women in Business Awards and luncheon held at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona. Cavallari's mother, Barbara Cavallari, and her daughter, Bella De Roos, were there supporting Cavallari as she accepted her award.

With deep roots in hospitality and a burgeoning business in the senior living sector, Cavallari is known for her disruptive approach to business and summarizes her leadership role at Aspire, the company she founded 21 years ago, by saying, "I want to inspire my team to awaken the potential in every client we work with."

"The impact these women are having across a broad array of economic sectors is inspiring and our Outstanding Women in Business programnot only celebrates their success, but highlighted the incredible work that women leaders right here in metro Phoenix are doing," said Ilana Lowery, Phoenix Business Journal Editor-in-Chief.

With more than 200 nominations, the 30 women honored this year demonstrated significant contributions to their companies, their communities and their families. The list includes prominent executives at some of the largest public companies and private employees throughout the Valley. More than 350 friends, family and co-workers joined the honorees to celebrate their achievements and acknowledge their contributions.
