Patrick Cheedie joins Red Roof as Franchise Development Director in the Rocky Mountain States of New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana. The role is critical to the identification of prospective Franchise locations and the growth of the Red Roof brand including the Red Roof Inn®, Red Roof PLUS+®, and HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof™. Cheedie will identify and qualify franchise prospects and manage and optimize a multi-state franchise development region, maximizing franchise sales and growth as well as preparing and presenting franchise projects. A sales leader for over 25 year, Cheedie is the former Director of hotel development and franchise sales for both Choice Hotels and Wyndham Hotel Group. At Choice he grew business and franchise sales for the Quality, Clarion, Econo Lodge, and Rodeway brands in the Rocky Mountain region and negotiated and closed million-dollar hotel franchise sales contracts. At Wyndham, he identified profitable hotel markets to target in every phase of the franchise development process. Cheedie is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX where he majored in Physical Education and Marketing.
