OCEAN CITY, MD (June 30 2015) – Real Hospitality Group (RHG) is pleased to announce the opening of Bethany Beach Ocean Suites, a new luxury hotel on Delaware’s Atlantic coast. Set to debut August 1, 2015, the collection of 112 suites will be the first full-service property located directly on Bethany Beach.

“This is such a classic and utterly unique destination in the Mid-Atlantic,” said Patrick Staib, a Delaware native and General Manager. “We are honored to bring an entirely new experience to the region.”

Situated between the bustling retail offerings in Rehoboth Beach, DE, and Ocean City, MD’s popular nightlife, the hotel will provide quiet respite plus premium accommodations and amenities. Bethany Beach Ocean Suites will also be a unique alternative to the area’s residential rental market; the full-service hotel will have a 1200 square foot spa, oceanfront dining and 4400 square feet of meeting and event space.

All of the 112 suites will have private balconies, many of which will overlook either the Atlantic Ocean, Bethany Beach Boardwalk. The spacious accommodations will include kitchenettes, flat-screen TVs, luxurious linens, Paul Mitchell amenities and pull-out couches. Clean, neutral interiors reflecting coastal touches will be found in the suites and throughout the property. Distinctive Hospitality Designs led the hotel’s interior design efforts which will include nautical accents such as beach photography, vibrant turquoise pops of color throughout and porthole-inspired hanging mirrors.

Property-wide complimentary Wi-Fi will extend onto the beach so guests can stay connected as they swim, sun and surf. The saltwater pool will have a retractable roof and year-round events and wellness programming such as poolside yoga and meditation. Ongoing children’s activities such as arts & crafts and carnival game night will be offered to keep the youngest guests engaged.

Signature restaurant 99 Sea Level is named for the destination’s address at 99 Hollywood Street but its commitment to its locale extends beyond a catchy moniker. Chefs will partner with area farms and fisheries to create seasonal, new American menus with locally grown and raised produce, meats and seafood. Several dishes, such as a signature seafood tower and a seafood-inspired starters menu, are designed for sharing. Other menu items will include Purple Spinach & Arugula Salads with Prosciutto, Melon Wedges and Sherry Vinaigrette; Miso-Glazed Halibut with Gingered Carrots; and Honey-Glazed, Brome Lake Duck Breasts with Shiitake Mushroom Sauce. The oceanfront restaurant will offer premier dining directly on the boardwalk, another first for Bethany Beach.

Guests can enjoy the boat-shaped bar at 99 Sea Level which will have a raw bar built into it, offering mid-Atlantic clams and oysters. A lively happy hour will take place each day. The bar’s menu will include a variety of local craft beers, wines, plus cocktails infused with house-made syrups, tonics and seasonal fruit juices. In the dining room and at the bar, dessert wines will be served in chocolate-dipped stemware.

The tranquil Spa by Oceanova will offer body treatments, facials, and beauty and salon services. Therapies will utilize natural and organic products befitting the beachfront locale, such as sea salt exfoliation treatments, Vitamin C-centric beach glow facials, and hydrating seaweed gel wraps. Massages will span deep tissue, hot stone, relaxation and reflexology, and can be customized for individuals or couples.

Meeting and event space at Bethany Beach Ocean Suites will include a Grand Ballroom for up to 300 people, a 12-person executive boardroom and 52-person conference room. Meetings can be customized with LCD projectors or monitors, plus personalized healthy menus, team-building exercises and beach activities. In addition to dedicated event planners, the hotel will have destination wedding specialist to organize year-round ceremonies, rehearsal dinners and receptions.

“We are excited about the opening of Bethany Beach Ocean Suites as we believe it will offer a new type of experience in this region,” said Ben Seidel, president of Real Hospitality Group, the hotel’s management company. “With luxurious and spacious accommodations to oceanfront dining, a premier spa and year-round meeting and event offerings, we’re looking forward to welcoming Bethany Beach locals, the destination’s regular vacationers and new travelers discovering the region for the first time.”
