Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa is proud to announce the promotion of Simon Harris to Food & Beverage Director.
Previously the Director of Restaurants at the Five-Star, Five-Diamond resort and Southern California’s only Relais & Châteaux property, Harris first joined the team in 2010, and continues to impress guests with outstanding hospitality, and a lasting impression.
In 2012, after re-opening with stunning renovations, Harris reintroduced Rancho Valencia to newcomers and re-engaged returning guests. Throughout his committed time with the property, he's continued to understand the business model, lead management, and guide the momentum of projects and initiatives.
In his new role as Food & Beverage Director, Harris will oversee all aspects of the resort’s signature restaurant, Veladora, The Pony Room, banquets, and in-room dining. In addition, he will be an imperative team member helping with budgets and property-wide decision making.
The property is thrilled to have his exceptional presence that Rancho Valencia guests, members and locals look for in both The Pony Room and Veladora.
