Integration of Cvent’s Lead Scoring and Rainmaker’s grouprev® solutions streamlines lead processing for revenue managers

ATLANTA – Feb. 23, 2016 – Complementing its innovative grouprev® product, The Rainmaker Group has entered into a strategic marketing agreement with Cvent, Inc. (NYSE: CVT), ensuring hospitality and gaming clients can more seamlessly prioritize and respond to group business leads from Cvent’s cloud-based enterprise event management platform. Rainmaker and Cvent jointly announced the collaboration during Rainmaker’s annual client conference, OPTIMIZE2016, last week in Miami, Fla.

The agreement allows users of Rainmaker’s grouprev group pricing solution to automatically rank and score RFP leads based on what’s important to their hotel using Cvent’s Lead Scoring technology. As a result, group business managers spend more time making informed decisions about which leads to pursue, and less time filtering and qualifying leads. This amplifies the advantages of Rainmaker’s grouprev, the only product of its kind, which improves deal conversions by 11 percent, stimulates rapid base building and is geared to attracting the best possible business. The optimal price recommended by grouprev significantly improves the likelihood of winning business and increasing the associated group room revenue, while minimizing lost business by both groups and transient guests.
