Beverly, Mass.; April 26, 2017 – Wylie Inn and Conference Center at Endicott College, which sits along a picturesque stretch of Boston’s North Shore oceanfront, has unveiled multi-million dollar upgrades to their conference center and 91 spacious guestrooms. The rooms were refreshed with new hard goods and a sophisticated design that frames views of the lush, 10-acre estate. The 17,500 square foot, waterside conference center, certified by the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC), underwent a grand head-to-toe renovation that installed the latest meetings technology, improved presentation capabilities and revamped the interior design.
"The renovations look great and we’re pleased the improvements provide us the capabilities to better service meetings planners, Endicott College and the surrounding community," said Pyramid Hotel Group Executive Vice President, Operations Jim Merrill. "Not only do the upgrades improve efficiency, but they've tastefully modernized the space in a way that complements the historic architectural elements. That, coupled with the waterfront locale, private beach and incredible service, is what makes Wylie Inn and Conference Center at Endicott College one of the Greater Boston Area's top sites for events and conferences."
The conference center’s changes merge state-of-the-art technology and contemporary design while giving a nod to the history of the college that encompasses it. The center provides a private, distraction-free venue boasting over 17,500 square feet of versatile meetings space including 26 meeting rooms. Design renovations and technology improvements add to an already impressive list of service-oriented amenities, providing planners and their attendees.
The property’s designers drew inspiration from nearby Patch Beach and used a coastal color palette featuring deep blues, sea greens and sandy neutrals. Conference Center hallways are adorned with award-winning photography from Endicott College seniors. Meetings spaces are punctuated by original architectural elements, including the original basketball court floors in the Marblehead room, and other reminders of the property’s history, including images of Endicott College, vintage postcards and maps.
Wylie Inn and Conference Center at Endicott College’s serene, seaside setting keeps attendees centered and the creative culinary team ensures they’re well-fed and focused. Refreshment stations are continuously restocked throughout the day, and creative, customizable menus are crafted using locally-grown and organic ingredients when available.
Meeting attendees, leisure travelers and those attending weddings and social events at the historic Tupper Manor at Wylie Inn and Conference Center at Endicott College, a 1901 Georgian Revival estate property, will also enjoy the refreshed guestrooms at Wylie Inn. The 91 rooms now feature new hard goods like dressers, hospitality centers and desks in a rich cherry finish for a sophisticated aesthetic.
All guests at The Wylie Inn and Conference Center at Endicott College benefit from access to the property’s private beach, fitness center, complimentary Wi-Fi, fully equipped business center and convenience of the Fountain Café and Bar.
