(April 27, 2023) – Park Hyatt Aviara, the iconic Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond Southern California resort, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bryan Hart as director of sales and marketing. A seasoned veteran in the hospitality industry with nearly two decades of experience, Hart oversees sales and marketing strategy to drive overall revenue growth for the resort as it completes the final phase of its $60+ million property-wide transformation with the introduction of Miraval Life in Balance Spa Aviara.
Throughout his career, Hart has held executive and upper management level roles for a multitude of unique and dynamic hotels and resorts. Prior to joining Hyatt in this role, Hart worked with Omni Hotels & Resorts for eight years, most recently as director of sales and marketing at Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia in Scottsdale, Ariz., and previously as director of sales and marketing at Omni San Diego Hotel. Familiar with the San Diego Market, Hart secured a partnership with the San Diego Padres for the Omni San Diego Hotel, and guided both previously mentioned properties through the COVID-19 pandemic, leading sales efforts and managing annual budgets with ownership and stakeholders.

Hart’s varied experience also includes positions as director of sales on the pre-opening team for the 600 room Omni Louisville Hotel, which was awarded 2018 Sales Team of the Year for Omni Hotels & Resorts, and as director of group sales at the oceanfront and golf resort Omni Amelia Island in Florida. Hart is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated Cum Laude from Northwood University with a degree in Business Management.
