(CHICAGO; July 21, 2016) — A 14-year veteran of the hospitality industry, Olga Tsetsotkina brings her international perspective on hospitality as Director of Sales to Hotel Covington, the greater Cincinnati area boutique and lifestyle hotel opening August 2016. Working in tandem with Salyers Group ownership and General Manager Jack Olshan, Tsetsotkina leads the sales direction for the hotel located within the historic 1910 building once home to Coppin’s Department store in Covington, KY.

In her role at the 114-room property, Tsetsotkina oversees all sales efforts, focusing on driving revenue for the hotel serving as the cornerstone to a burgeoning revitalization of the riverfront city of Covington. Tsetsotkina’s deep understanding of the hotel industry landscape, as well as the needs and attitudes of leisure and business travelers coming into the Northern Kentucky market, are poised to propel Hotel Covington’s sales both from a group and individual sector.

“The storied Coppins Department Store building has long captivated the Covington community,” says Tsetsotkina, “and I’m dedicated to growing significant sales initiatives for the property to showcase this significant Covington landmark.”

Tsetsotkina began in the hotel business almost by accident, first applying for a night auditor position within a small hotel and quickly deciding her career path. “It quickly became a passion, as I got the opportunity to be a part of creating an unforgettable experience for a wide cross-section of travelers,” Tsetsotkina says.

Originally from Narva, Estonia, Tsetsotkina is a classical pianist who studied English language and literature at Tartu University in Tartu, Estonia. Now living in Mason, OH, she enjoys working out and traveling, and is active in the Russian speaking community serving as a Russian/English interpreter.
