LEXINGTON, MA (May 22, 2019) — Ocean House Management Collection is pleased to announce the appointment of Christine Smith as General Manager at The Inn at Hastings Park. In her new role, Christine will oversee daily operations of the boutique luxury property.

Christine joins The Inn at Hastings Park after serving as Corporate Director of Luxury Sales & Strategic Partnerships at Ocean House Management Collection. She previously held the positions of Director of Rooms and Director of Guest Relations for the Ocean House, a Forbes Five-Star and AAA’s only Five Diamond hotel in Rhode Island. Prior to that, she served as a Manager at The Grand Del Mar Resort in San Diego, CA, another Five Diamond property.

She has served on various community boards, and received her bachelor’s degree from Mercyhurst College in Pennsylvania, where she studied hotel, restaurant and institutional management. Christine succeeds Trisha Pérez Kennealy, the owner of The Inn at Hastings Park, who will continue her strategic leadership and community spokesperson role for the property.

“Christine brings a wealth of luxury hospitality experience combined with a sensibility that is perfect for The Inn at Hastings Park property and the community,” said Daniel Hostettler, Ocean House Management President and Group Managing Director. “Under her direction, we are confident that The Inn at Hastings Park will expand its reputation as a luxurious experience in a quintessential and historic New England setting, unlike anything else in the Boston area.”

The Inn at Hastings Park recently joined Ocean House Management, a collection of some of the most prestigious hotel properties in New England that includes the Ocean House in Watch Hill, RI and the Weekapaug in Westerly, RI. All Ocean House Management Collection hotels are part of the elite international hospitality association, Relais and Châteaux.
