(Redondo Beach, CA) August 16, 2022 – Noble House Hotels & Resorts and The Portofino Hotel & Marina announce the appointment of Drew Berry as general manager of this iconic Redondo Beach property. In his new role, Berry will oversee all daily operations, including guest services and relations; food & beverage destinations BALEENkitchen, BALEENlounge and The Living Room; the hotel’s popular Dockside Adventure Center (ran in partnership with outfitter brand REI), which offers incredible outdoor and adventure experiences like kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, and boat charters, and more.

Formerly the complex general manager at Mosaic Hotel, as well as Maison 140 in Beverly Hills, Berry brings more than a decade of diversified hospitality experience to his new position. During his time at both properties, Berry was tasked with managing efforts including but not limited to guest relations, revenue management, sales and marketing, food & beverage, personnel supervision, and accounting. Additional resort and hotel managerial positions include Le Meridien in Santa Monica, Jamaica Bay Inn in Marina Del Rey, and Cambria Hotel & Suites LAX in El Segundo. Additionally, he served as the director of food & beverage for L’Ermitage in Beverly Hills and the four-star luxury property Mandarin Oriental, in San Francisco.

Before starting his career in hospitality, Berry attended Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business and Communication. Currently, Drew resides in Playa Del Rey with his wife Whitney, daughter Ireland, and son Declan.
