PARK CITY, Utah (May 30, 2018) – Ahead of the summer season, Montage Deer Valley appoints Catherine Kirchheimer as the resort’s new director of sales and marketing bringing extensive experience to Montage Deer Valley to aid in the sales and marketing efforts of the year-round mountain resort.

“We are thrilled to welcome Catherine to the Montage Deer Valley leadership team,” said Allen Highfield, general manager, Montage Deer Valley. “She brings a fresh perspective to the resort as well as wide-ranging experience in sales and marketing to support the continued success of Montage Deer Valley.”

In a return to Park City, Kirchheimer oversees all sales and marketing efforts for Montage Deer Valley, with responsibilities including prospecting new business domestically and internationally, building and maintaining relationships with travel professionals across the industry, and facilitating and personalizing the resort’s guest experience.

Kirchheimer has longstanding experience with Montage Hotels & Resorts, as she comes to Deer Valley from the island of Maui, where for the past few years she was director of sales and marketing at Montage Kapalua Bay. She honed her talents for that position in her previous role as director of leisure sales at Montage Deer Valley, which she joined in 2010 as part of the pre-opening team. Previously, Kirchheimer was with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, first as leisure sales manager for The Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott, Orlando Grande Lakes in Florida, then in the same position for The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch in Avon, Colorado.

California born, Kirchheimer grew up on the east coast. She earned a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in psychology and English at Duke University. Now feeling right at home in Park City, she enjoys an active lifestyle, including biking, skiing, and hiking with her husband and black Labrador, Boone.
