May 2019 – Maybourne Hotel Group, which owns and manages three of the most renowned hotels in London – Claridge’s, The Connaught & The Berkeley – is delighted to announce the appointment of Alper Toydemir as the Director of East Coast Sales. Alper brings extensive knowledge to his new role, with over a decade of experience in working with internationally celebrated hotels and resorts.

As Director of East Coast Sales, Alper is responsible for strengthening and supporting Maybourne Hotel Group’s East Coast sales initiatives, covering all markets. A seasoned veteran in the luxury hospitality industry, Alper joins Director of Sales & Marketing, The Americas, Nancy Getlan, bringing his extensive experience and deep understanding of strategic sales to the Maybourne Hotel Group team.

Alper began his career with The Ritz-Carlton, working with the New York and Boston properties, where he quickly proved his sales acumen, moving into a sales manager position that set the path for the next ten years of his career. He has since held positions as Assistant Director of Sales and Regional Head of Sales for renowned luxury properties including The Peninsula New York, The Pierre New York and Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts, among others.

Maybourne Hotel Group’s growing sales office exemplifies their commitment to further solidifying Claridge’s, The Connaught and The Berkeley as the premier destinations in the United Kingdom. The three hotels are some of the most celebrated luxury properties in the world, iconic destinations that are continually innovating to offer the most exceptional experiences in London. Claridge’s has recently unveiled the new Empress Eugenie Suite, and this fall will debut the much buzzed-about Davies and Brook, a new restaurant from Chef Daniel Humm and Will Guidara of New York’s Eleven Madison Park. The Connaught is now welcoming guests to their private townhouse suite, The Mews, arguably the most exclusive experience in the city. While over at The Berkeley, the hotel will open their second bar, The Berkeley Bar, complete with outdoor terrace, while also debuting a singular rooftop experience, La Dolce Vita, inspired by summertime in the Italian Riviera, while continuing to delight guests and visitors alike with the limited-edition Dior inspired rendition of their much-loved Prêt-á-Portea.
