Orlando, Fla. – November 30, 2016 – Travelers are getting a unique look at the making of the anticipated Margaritaville Resort Orlando, with a newly created infographic released today. The ‘Fin Facts’ reveal notable facts and figures surrounding the one-of-a-kind $750 million vacation destination, which is currently under development in the heart of Orlando.

Seen above, the new infographic highlights the total number of hours to build the pools, hotel, residences, beach and restaurant space. Notable figures include:

  • 2,200 beach chairs available to guests
  • 1,000 steps from resort to retail space
  • 60,000 square footage of beachfront
  • 14 million gallons of water to fill the pools
  • 3,425,625 total hours to build the following:
    • 100,000 hours to build the pools
    • 2 million hours to build the hotel
    • 65,625 hours to build the residences
    • 60,000 hours to build the beach
    • 1.2 million hours to build the restaurant space
  • 700,000 cubic yards of sand used to build the beach
  • 1,300 palm trees on property
  • 6,000 guests can be accommodated in the residents and hotel rooms at one time

Margaritaville Resort Orlando also today unveiled a new resort rendering (left), showcasing a panoramic view of the expansive property, which will feature a 187-room hotel, 1,000 Margaritaville-inspired vacation homes, 300 timeshare units, a water park, fitness trails, a dining and entertainment district, a wellness center, a water taxi system and more.
