Embassy Suites Hotels, the Hilton Worldwide brand of upscale all-suite hotels, announced today the opening of Embassy Suites Oklahoma City Downtown/Medical Center. Located in the heart of the metropolis, this new-build hotel marks the third Embassy Suites property in the Sooner State. The full service hotel offers 195 two-room guest suites and over 10,000 square feet of meeting space. Travelers will find flavors to match any palate at the new on-site restaurant, E.S. Founders, led by Executive Chef Andrew Black. On April 9th the hotel will host a Grand Opening Reception and is currently accepting guest reservations. Embassy Suites Oklahoma City Downtown/Medical Center is owned by OU E.Suites, L.L.C. and managed by Prism Hotels & Resorts.

The restaurant E.S. Founders is open for lunch and dinner, offering a selection of American cuisine and local favorites for travelers to indulge. The extensive menu includes hot and cold options, vegetarian choices and a kids menu. Additionally, business and leisure travelers can unwind and relax at The Lounge at E.S Founders. Open daily for dinner and offering a full bar, the lounge provides travelers the perfect place to sip a cocktail or meet up for a fun evening with friends and colleagues. The dishes at the restaurant are also available as in-room service for guests between 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.

Chef Andrew Black, a native of Jamaica, has global culinary experience and training from the legendary Ritz in Paris, France. He recently served as the executive chef at The Skirvin in Oklahoma City and The Peabody in Memphis, and has won numerous awards, including the Gold Medal in the Annual Culinary Arts Competition in 1998. In addition to Chef Black’s appointment, joining the leadership team are Karrie Morgan as Director of Catering and Bryan Fulton as Assistant General Manager/Director of Operations. Morgan joins the team after over six years at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel, and Fulton joins the team with 17 years in hospitality after having spent the past 10 years with John Q Hammons Hotels and Resorts.

The new hotel features the brand’s signature amenities including its free made-to-order breakfast, a two-hour complimentary Evening Reception* with snacks and beverages, two-room suites with a separate living area, private bedroom, two flat-screen high-definition televisions, a wet bar fitted with a microwave, a mini-fridge and a coffee maker. The hotel also offers 24-hour fitness and business centers.

Managed by Prism Hotels & Resorts, the 195-suite, six-story hotel is located at 741 N. Phillips Avenue, near downtown Oklahoma City.
