Montauk, NY – Maggie Mojica has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for Gurney’s Resorts’ properties in Montauk, New York including Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa and Gurney’s Star Island Resort & Marina. A seasoned hospitality professional with experience rooted in New York, Maggie is a dynamic leader who utilizes creativity, teamwork and leadership skills to design and execute solutions that create customer loyalty and value. In her new role with Gurney’s Resorts, Maggie will lead the Department of Sales and Marketing and be responsible for driving group and core sales, creating relationships, promoting brand strategies and creating the best experience for all guests of the Montauk properties.

Maggie has held a variety of positions where she has gained exceptional experience in the luxury hospitality arena; she comes to Gurney’s Resorts from St. Regis New York where she served as the Director of Sales. In this role, she was responsible for the growth and development of the international sales team. Prior to her tenure at St. Regis New York, Maggie served as the Director of Sales of The Waldorf Astoria New York, where she and her team consistently exceeded revenue goals by a minimum of 25 percent each quarter and gained exceptional insight into the luxury hospitality arena. Earlier in her career, she also worked as the Director of Northeast Sales for El Conquistador Resort & Spa in Puerto Rico and as the Convention Services Manager at The New York Marriott Marquis in New York.
