JOHANNESBURG (July 2019) — Valor Hospitality South Africa, a subsidiary of Valor Hospitality Partners, which owns and operates 75+ hotels across the globe, has been selected to manage Lucid Ventures’ new hotel brand, Home* Suite Hotels.

Lucid Ventures, the R350M Cape Town-based hotel fund, launched Home* Suite Hotels in May 2019 — opening the first hotel on the corner of Oxford and Bristol Roads in central Rosebank. Lucid Ventures will open more locations in Johannesburg, Sea Point, Gardens and De Waterkant in Cape Town over the next 24 months.

A luxury boutique hotel brand, Home* Suite Hotels locations are designed to provide the comforts of home for the urban traveler who enjoys a suburban feel with unique amenities like handmade mattresses, pillow-selection menus, a dog-friendly atmosphere and the latest tech innovations.

Valor South Africa, which manages and advises on over 20 hospitality projects in the country, will offer a comprehensive, all-encompassing range of services for Home* Suite Hotels, including accommodations, food and beverage, sales & marketing services and future hotel brand development.

In just the last few months, Valor has expanded its global footprint by launching the Valor Middle East division and signing an exclusive agreement with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®) to operate 26 hotels across eight countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
