Horsham, PA, USA: November 4, 2014- LRA Worldwide CEO Rob Rush will participate in the Dean’s Distinguished Lecture Series at the Cornell School of Hotel Administration (SHA) on campus in Ithaca, New York on November 7. Rush, Cornell Class of ’77, will recount to SHA students his journey through the hospitality industry in building his company, LRA Worldwide, into the leading provider of Customer Experience Measurement services for the global hospitality as well as a number of other industries.

For 85 years the Dean’s Distinguished Lecture Series has been a highlight of the SHA academic program, giving students an unparalleled opportunity to learn directly from the hospitality industry’s seasoned leaders and rising stars. Rush will join the ranks of other distinguished speakers, that in recent years have included Bill Marriott (Marriott International) and Danny Meyer (Union Square Hospitality Group), and this year includes executives from The White House, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Worldwide. The speakers, who represent every sector of the industry, share their views on successful management styles and leadership qualities, possible career paths, and critical industry-related issues.

“As a former Cornell student and an alumnus who has remained actively involved with the school, I am aware of the history and stature of this program,” Rush said. “I am excited to share my journey and honored to join the illustrious roll call of past speakers. I am also very proud of the other Cornell Alums that work at our company.”

“It’s hard to believe given the number of times I stumbled out of Barton Hall after a concert,” Rush joked.
