SAN DIEGO, CA (June 6, 2018) – Loews Coronado Bay Resort has announced the appointment of Brandon Walton as Director of Sales & Marketing. Located on a private peninsula on Coronado Island in San Diego, Loews Coronado Bay Resort is one of 24 Loews addresses across North America.
With over a decade of sales experience and a passion for promoting San Diego, Brandon now directs all sales and marketing efforts for Loews Coronado Bay Resort. Formerly, he served as Director of Sales at the resort where he led the team to receive Loews Hotels “Sales Team of the Year” in 2015. Brandon has been responsible for the hotel’s year-over-year growth in all key metrics and achieved the best annual sales production in the 26 year history of the property in 2017.
“The combination of Brandon’s rich knowledge of the San Diego market along with his five years of service with our resort make him the perfect leader for the hotel’s sales and marketing efforts,” said Sean Clancy, Managing Director. “Brandon’s strong sales background will infuse new energy and excitement into our iconic destination resort experience.”
Prior to Loews, Brandon worked at as a Senior Sales Manager for Hilton San Diego Sales Complex and Sales Manager at Atlas Hotels. His 18 year career in hospitality has taken him across the US, from Philadelphia to Florida and ultimately, to his home in San Diego.
Brandon attended Widener University where he received a Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management.
