NEWPORT BEACH, CA – September 21, 2021 – Lido House, an Autograph Collection, is pleased to announce the appointment of Davide Paduano to director of hotel food and beverage operations. A dedicated hotelier and sommelier with more than 15 years of expertise, Davide brings a wealth of elevated knowledge to his role as director of hotel food and beverage operations. Paduano oversees all culinary outlets at Lido House, including The Mayor’s Table Pacific Pub + Kitchen and Topside, Newport Beach’s first rooftop bar.

Over the years, Davide has grown a deep passion for high-end hospitality. Born and raised in Rome, Davide’s culinary journey began immediately following hospitality school where he spent seven years earning his stripes at Hotel Hassler Roma near the beautiful Spanish Steps, where he later received level 3 Sommelier certification. In 2013, Davide transitioned to the St. Regis Abu Dhabi five-star hotel as part of the pre-opening team. He held ranks as the restaurant manager for over a year prior to relocating to New York where he earned the coveted role of food and beverage manager at The St. Regis New York. During his tenure, Davide was awarded ‘Beverage Person of the Year, the Americas’ by Marriott International. With an aspirational mindset, he decided to move cross-country to fuel his culinary resume and became the food and beverage banquet manager at The St. Regis San Francisco in 2018, and simultaneously obtained a Master’s Certification in Hospitality Management through Cornell University.

Once he completed his certifications, Davide moved to Los Angeles and became the assistant director of food and beverage at the well-known The West Hollywood EDITION prior to joining the Lido House team. When he’s not overseeing creative menu development, Davide can be found strengthening his wine knowledge, playing tennis, practicing his piano skills, or spending quality time with his wife and 2-year- old daughter.
