Berlin/Munich, May 11th, 2017: In March 2018, Germany's first NYX hotel opens in Munich. With ten houses operating in the Bavarian capital, Leonardo Hotels offers the right starting point for night owls, individualists, and street art fans with its lifestyle brand. In the 225 rooms, the open lobby with a bar, and the lounge, interior designer Andreas Neudahm reinvents the NYX concept for Munich. While the hotels in Milan and Prague receive their guests with darkly-colored coolness, the NYX Munich combines creamy, warm, and natural tones, exuding an impressive elegance. The longstay rooms will be new; guests will be able to provide for themselves with their own kitchenettes.

Of course, visitors at the Munich hotel can look forward to familiar features of the lifestyle brand: NYX hotels are not just hotels, they are places that accommodate the street art of the city. In order to implement this concept in every house, the hotel group is working with Israeli curator Iris Barak. Along with local curators, she stages the street artwork in such a way that it produces immediate reactions and endows the house with an irresistible charm. The “City Lovers” give off a special aura. They are a combination of concierges and guest relations. Every City Lover is close to the guest, sharing their passion for the city with visitors by informing them of current must-sees, turning the foreigners into insiders. DJs play trendy tracks and fire up the club atmosphere at night. If you're looking to relax, you can watch classics in the private cinema or take part in previews while indulging in culinary delights such as burgers and cool drinks.

“After the successful openings of our NYX properties in Milan and Prague, we are all the more pleased to finally have an NYX in Germany,” says Daniel Roger, Managing Director of Leonardo Hotels Europe. Roger continues: “With this exceptional concept, we are making sure that NYX Munich remains one of our fondest memories and invites us to discover other NYX hotels in Europe.”
