Brad McCreedy brings 20 years of hospitality experience to the general manager role. McCreedy will manage day-to-day operations, oversee associate development and work to uphold LBA’s standard of providing exceptional guest service. Over the course of 28 years in the industry, new Director of Sales Sherri Ann Janson has become an expert in account management and acquisition, revenue-building and more. Janson will apply her excellent marketing and communications skills as head of the sales department. Before taking on this role, Janson served as director of sales for Home2 Suites Hilton in Gainesville.

“Brad and Sherri will undoubtedly serve Gainesville’s guests well with their outstanding people-skills and collective four decades of experience. We have full trust that both new employees will be positive additions to the Hampton Inn & Suites team and LBA as whole,” said LBA President Beau Benton.

“We are pleased to see the continued growth of the property’s talented team,” added Diego Ardid, co-president of Key International, which acquired the Hampton Inn & Suites Gainesville-Downtown in September 2016. “These seasoned professionals will elevate the hospitality experience in the Gainesville market and join at an ideal time as we near the completion of extensive upgrades to the hotel.”

Hampton Inn & Suites Gainesville-Downtown is undergoing a renovation that began in November 2016 under the supervision of LBA. The restorations are expected to be completed and unveiled to the public late March 2017.
