MIAMI (MAY 9, 2023) – Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel, a recently renovated boutique hotel situated oceanfront in the heart of South Beach’s Art Deco District, is pleased to announce that Amanda Rodriguez has joined the property as Director of Sales & Marketing. Born and raised in Miami, Rodriguez is a tenured hospitality professional, with more than 15 years of experience in the industry. In her new role, she will oversee Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel’s sales and marketing team to develop strategies that will continue to propel the hotel forward as a leader in the market.

A graduate of Florida International University’s School of Hospitality Management, Rodriguez worked her way through college at the front desk of The Delano in South Beach. In 2010, she joined the team at The Standard Miami, initially as the Executive Assistant to the property’s General Manager and was later promoted to Sales Manager. In 2018, Rodriguez became the property’s Director of Sales and Catering, managing all sales aspects of the hotel to achieve annual sales targets.
