In her role, Acosta will execute strategies to increase hotel occupancy and revenue as well as drive bookings for Kimpton Ink48’s 6,000 square feet of contemporary meeting and event space. An accomplished and results-oriented sales professional, Ileana will also grow key accounts, implement partnerships and elevate the hotel’s profile through creative marketing initiatives.

With 15 years of experience in the sales and hospitality industries, Ileana began her sales career in 2003 as the Global Sales Manager of the Americas at Oakwood Temporary Housing where she worked for seven years before joining Hersha Hospitality Management as Area Sales Manager in 2010. Two years later she joined Gild Hall, a Thompson Hotel, where she served as Associate Director of Sales for three years before being promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing in 2015. During her two years leading the sales and marketing team at Gild Hall, before joining Kimpton Ink48, Ileana achieved year-over-year group room night growth of 57%, improved total occupancy by 8.6% and led the property to year-over-year growth of 5.6% in total hotel revenue.
