Newport Beach, CA – Oct 3, 2017 – BirchStreet Systems, Inc. , the leading Cloud-based Procure-to-Pay platform serving the Hospitality Industry, today announced that Joseph Fox will join BirchStreet as its Chief Strategy Officer and a senior member of the BirchStreet Executive Team. Fox’s responsibilities include leading and managing BirchStreet’s Global Strategy including Strategic Partnerships, Business Development, M&A, Channel Programs, Supplier Offerings and the BirchStreet Business Network of Buyers and Suppliers.

Fox brings over 30 years of technology and business leadership to his new role at BirchStreet. Most recently, Fox spent more than 12 years at SAP Ariba (Ariba was acquired by SAP in 2012), a pioneer in Sourcing & Procurement Technology and Business Network space. Fox's Ariba career started as a member of its consulting practice during its pre-IPO period. After performing roles in Consulting and early eInvoicing startups, he rejoined Ariba in 2008 to become the Product Management Leader of the highly successful Ariba Network. Most recently, Fox was the Senior Vice President Business Development & Strategy for SAP Ariba. In addition to his tenure at SAP Ariba, Fox held leadership positions within Ernst & Young Management Consulting and Accenture BPO. He spent his early career as a software developer at Daugherty Systems.

In addition to Fox's new role at BirchStreet, he will continue as an Independent Advisor to select number of start-up companies in the San Francisco Bay Area and across the US. Fox will also continue his work with companies with Autism at Work programs and educational institutions to further advance the cause of creating learning bridging programs and quality jobs for individuals on the Autism Spectrum.

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Fox grew up in St. Louis, Missouri before moving to California. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rockhurst University, Kansas City, Missouri.
