PALM BEACH, ARUBA (January 27, 2015) - Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa & Casino today announced the appointment of Joel Bunde as the new General Manager of Aruba's premier beachfront property. A more than 20-year veteran of the Hyatt hospitality family, Bunde brings a wealth of experience, expertise and passion for the hotel brand to Hyatt Regency Aruba. 

In his new role as General Manager, Bunde will oversee all aspects of the resort's operations, including food and beverage, staff management, recruitment and development, amongst other daily operational tasks. With over 20 years of management experience, Bunde will guide Hyatt Regency Aruba's current initiatives while working to implement additional strategies that will keep the resort at the forefront of innovation and continue its legacy as being the top destination on the island. 

Before joining Hyatt Regency Aruba, Bunde worked for a number of Hyatt properties, serving as General Manager at the Hyatt Key West Resort & Spa and as Executive Assistant Manager at hotel's including the Hyatt Regency Curacao Golf Resort Spa & Marina, Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort Spa & Marina, Hyatt Regency Indianapolis, and the Park Hyatt Carmel.

Bunde received his Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
