WEST PALM BEACH, FL. (May 24, 2021): Island Hospitality Management, the premier third-party management company for select service and upscale extended stay hotels in the United States, has announced today that Roger Pollak will be retiring as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer on June 30, 2021. Pollak will serve as Director of Special Projects through the end of 2021.

Pollak has spent the majority of his career as an instrumental leader at Island Hospitality since joining the team in 1995. Pollak’s contributions in various senior executive roles include overseeing the company’s financial and corporate administrative functions, as well as managing priority third-party owner relationships.

“Roger has helped lead Island through many different phases of lodging cycles, and periods of growth and contraction,” said Jeff Fisher, Principal, Island Hospitality Management. “Roger has been an instrumental member of our team, and we wouldn’t be one of the premier management companies in the country without his contributions and leadership over the past quarter-century. While we will certainly miss Roger, we know the next phase of his life will be as successful and meaningful as his extraordinary tenure here at Island. With deep appreciation, we all wish Roger the best and appreciate his many contributions that he has made to Island Hospitality.”
