On behalf of and by direction of the McCabe Companies, Newmark Knight Frank Valuation & Advisory, LLC’s (NKF V&A) Hospitality, Gaming & Leisure Group is pleased to request qualifications from experienced hotel management companies for a hotel development in the Brewery District of Columbus, Ohio. Mixed-use developments at the site are planned to include upscale market-rate apartments, leased retail and restaurant space, leased office and co-working space, new-build parking garage, and the new-build hotel with meeting space and rooftop bar. The highly unique site is visible from I-71 and improved with former brewery buildings constructed in the mid- to late-1800s that will contain several of the project’s components. The developer is seeking an operator for the hotel component only (including lobby bar/coffee shop, rooftop bar, and attached event space situated within the historic buildings).

Within the Request for Qualifications (RFQ), we provide an overview of the developer, summarize details regarding the proposed hotel and overall project, outline recommendations from NKF V&A’s feasibility analysis, and define the scope of services expected from a third-party hotel management company.

This RFQ is the pre-qualification stage of the procurement process. Only those applicants who successfully respond to the RFQ and meet the qualification criteria will be included in the subsequent Request for Proposals (RFP) solicitation process. Submissions will be reviewed and forwarded to the McCabe Companies. A copy the feasibility study will be provided to those firms deemed most qualified.

Interested parties should contact Laurel Keller, MAI, Senior Vice President of NKF V&A’s Hospitality, Gaming & Leisure Group, at [email protected] for a copy of the RFQ. Ms. Keller will be at the NYU Hotel conference June 4 to 5 and the Boutique Hotel Investment Conference June 6, and available to meet and discuss this opportunity. Submissions are due by 5:00 PM EST on Friday, June 22, 2018.
