LOS ANGELES, California – May 18, 2022 – Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown, the brand’s global flagship property, proudly announces Josh Weast as its Director of Food & Beverage. Weast brings over 20 years of hospitality experience to his new role and will oversee all of the property’s food and beverage initiatives, including operations of lobby-level Metropole Bar+Kitchen, top-floor cocktail lounge 18 Social, newly-renovated outdoor pool deck The Swim Club, banquets and events.

A hospitality and food service industry veteran, Weast most recently served as Director of Food & Beverage at the W Hollywood. While there, he increased overall sales and profit, by bringing back the Hotel W iconic Jazz nights as well as special events and drag brunch which helped bring the Hotel to life. His partnership with Chandon and creating the Chandon Secret Garden at Station Hollywood helped transform the space for weekly activations. He held similar positions at other hospitality brands, including Angad Arts Hotel, Porto Vista Hotel, Kimpton Hotel Palomar, and Delaware North Company Petco Park.
Weast studied Mass Communications, Advertising, and Psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. As an outdoor and fitness enthusiast, Weast spends his free time exploring parks and trails with his two German Shepherds.
