For hotels currently Under Construction, the Latin America Pipeline has 410 Projects/70,564 Rooms, down 1% by projects and 6% by rooms YOY. There are 182 Projects/31,255 Rooms Scheduled to Start Construction in the Next 12 Months, up 3% by projects and 2% rooms. Projects in Early Planning, 300 Projects/49,384 Rooms, are up 8% by projects and 5% by rooms.

The three cities with the largest pipelines are: Sao Paulo, Brazil with 39 Projects/6,877 Rooms, Campinas, Brazil with 35 Projects/6,349 Rooms and Lima, Peru with 23 Projects/3,534 Rooms.

The leading franchise companies in Latin America’s Pipeline are: AccorHotels with 123 Projects/18,206 Rooms, Marriott International with 81 projects/12,926 Rooms and Hilton Worldwide with 60 Projects/8,891 Rooms.
