Hospitality Upgrade interviews industry experts at HSMAI ROC 2013 to gain insight into the top trends in revenue management

Atlanta, Ga. - In a video release from Hospitality Upgrade Magazine earlier this week, Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) President and CEO Bob Gilbert discussed the educational sessions of the 2013 HSMAI ROC (Revenue Optimization Conference), in which speakers identified several companies that are expected to be game changers in the future of revenue management. In addition to Gilbert, several industry experts weighed in on the conference as a whole, as well as the key topics in discussion at the event.

Today, Hospitality Upgrade has released a second video from the event, covering the top trends in hospitality revenue management. Watch the Hospitality Upgrade Trends in Revenue Management.

Vice President of Revenue Management for Commune Hotels Kathleen Cullen said, “We have this big collision right now between revenue management and marketing. Today those positions are typically very separate in the industry, but it’s really critical that we start coming together and working together as one team. Revenue management absolutely needs to understand what’s happening in the digital world and in online marketing, and how that plays into their revenue management strategies.”
