2 March 2020 – Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), the producers of HITEC®, announced today that exhibitors and sponsors who were confirmed to participate in HITEC Europe 2020 will be offered a complimentary branding package for HITEC North America, scheduled for 15-18 June 2020, San Antonio, Texas, USA. HFTP is also in the process of refunding booth fees and sponsorships paid to HFTP. The Europe event, which has been postponed in response to the global uncertainty related to the Novel Coronavirus and its impact on the hospitality industry. was planned for Mallorca, Spain 21-23 April is Europe’s premier hospitality technology event.

“As the global nonprofit organization for hospitality finance and technology, HFTP has a unique understanding of the current challenges that our HITEC Europe sponsors and exhibitors have’, said Frank Wolfe, CEO. “In order to assist them with these challenges, we put together a complimentary branding package for HITEC North America and are offering it to our confirmed Europe clients as of the postponement date.”

All of HITEC Europe confirmed clients will be contacted with the details later this week. The complimentary package will include logo acknowledgement, recognition on both HITEC Europe and HITEC North America websites, and several other opportunities. The retail price of the package would be several thousand dollars but will be provided at no cost.

No booths or sponsorships will be cancelled until that time. For members whose renewals might be impacted, we are asking them to contact our membership department directly.”
