Hawaii Seaside Resorts Broadens their Social Reach by Over 20,000 in First Month with Flip.to

Orlando, FL — December 4, 2013 — Flip.to, the brand advocate platform for hotels, is helping Seaside Hotels Hawaii boost brand awareness and earn new guests with the help of their most trusted, untapped marketing source - their guests. Since going live with Flip.to in October, guests of the three Seaside Hotels have spread the word about their stay to over 21,000 of their closest friends, relatives and colleagues.
Flip.to has turned 22% of Seaside Hotel’s guests into trusted advocates. Each advocate shared a branded message with a unique link about the resort with their social networks, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Each link directed a guest’s friend or relative to the Seaside Hotels website, which Flip.to then dynamically personalized specifically for each and every guest connection.
Connie Kramer, Director of Social Media for Seaside Hotels, added, “We were looking for a way to broaden our social media reach. Flip.to gave us a way to tap into our guests’ social networks in a way that just feels right, which builds incredibly strong brand connections and that most importantly drive web bookings. We’re also using Flip.to to get positive quotes from guests after their stay, curate the ones we like best in a click or two, and use Flip.to on our homepage to help convert our anonymous website visitors into guests as well.”
“Seaside Hotels were looking to boost what they were already doing with the social networks and recognized the value of touching the connections of their guests. The only way to do that right is to reach a guest’s friends and relatives in a way that feels trusted and natural.” says Kristi White, VP of Global Sales Strategy for Flip.to. “With Flip.to on their homepage, the hotels are also converting 26% of anonymous website visitors- helping turn lookers into bookers.”
