Greystone Hotels Appoints Sherry Michelson as Director of Sales and Catering at Hotel Los Gatos

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (December 12, 2018) – Greystone Hotels announces the appointment of Sherry Michelson as Director of Sales and Catering at Silicon Valley’s Hotel Los Gatos. With over 12 years of experience working in events, catering, and sales, Michelson brings extensive industry and customer service knowledge to the property. Most recently, Michelson held the position of Senior Group Sales & Events Manager at Hyatt Carmel Highlands.

Her background includes positions within both branded and boutique hotel groups, including Hyatt Carmel Highlands, Monterey Tides, The Verve Crowne Plaza Natick, Taj Boston, Four Seasons Philadelphia and Hotel Indigo.

Born and raised in Newton, Massachusetts, Michelson is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she received her degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Previously an entrepreneur, Michelson founded Corporate Fairs, Inc. —a high-end, vendor fair program that allows employees to shop at work. Passionate about dance, she also used to be a professional jazz/hip-hop dancer and choreographer who ran her own troupe.
