OVERLAND PARK, KS – July 14, 2017– Travel industry leader Global Connections, Inc. (GCI), has announced that six of its resorts have received TripAdvisor’s® Certificate of Excellence.

Beso del Sol (Dunedin, FL), Lodge by The Blue (Breckenridge, CO), Sea Shells Beach Club (Daytona Beach, FL) and White Oak Lodge and Resort (Gatlinburg, TN), all owned by GCI, are recipients of the prestigious award. Bamboo Beach Club (Clearwater Beach, FL) and Vista Al Puerto (St. Maarten) which are managed by the GCI property management division, received the coveted TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence as well.

Now in its seventh year, the achievement celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year. Certificate of Excellence recipients include accommodations, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.

Dave Dawson, Vice President Acquisitions and Development of GCI said, “The award is based upon consistently positive reviews submitted by our Global Discovery Vacation members and guests throughout the year. We are so proud of each one of our awesome resort staff and appreciative of all their efforts. As a developer, we couldn’t be prouder that four of our wholly owned properties and two that we manage earned such accolades. The resorts themselves are wonderful vacation spots and the hospitality and service that our members and guests receive is always top notch. Awards such as these reinforce that we are doing our utmost in providing excellent vacation experiences.”

The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and timeliness of reviews submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
