NEW YORK (DECEMBER 2017) – Thompson Hotels’ Gild Hall, a neighborhood gem in the heart of downtown Manhattan, has appointed Lindsey Sears as director of sales. Sears, a veteran to the hospitality industry of over nine years, was most recently associate director of sales at Hotel 50 Bowery, also included within Two Roads Hospitality’s portfolio, where she led sales efforts for the first New York City outpost of Joie de Vivre.

“Lindsey’s vast experience spearheading sales strategy for luxury properties coupled with her familiarity of New York City’s upscale hotel industry will guide the continued success of Gild Hall into the future,” says Scott Koster, Regional Vice President at Two Roads Hospitality. We are thrilled to welcome her to the team in her new role overseeing the property’s sales and marketing strategy.”

Previously, Sears served as director of sales at Hotel Hugo, a boutique hotel in Manhattan, where she led sales and marketing strategy around the property’s launch in May 2014, as an active member of the pre-opening team. She also spent more than two years, respectively, as senior sales manager at both Hyatt 48 Lex and Fashion 26 Hotel. Earlier in her career, Sears served as international sales coordinator at Le Parker Meridien.

Sears earned a degree in Hotel and Tourism Management at New York University and Baking and Pastry Arts at The Culinary Institute of America.
