Gaylord Texan marks completion of Enseo installation in the brand’s 8,300 rooms

Richardson, TX – December 8, 2015 – Enseo, the fastest growing integrator in the hospitality industry, announced today it has finished installation of the complete Gaylord Hotels portfolio. Gaylord Hotels is the first hospitality brand to offer the Enseo platform in every room. Enseo’s solution includes Over-The-Top (OTT) streaming apps and Bluetooth® audio to support guest-carried media. The Gaylord Hotels brand currently includes five signature properties totaling more than 8,300 rooms.

“Gaylord Hotels is an impressive organization who thrives on innovation and a superior guest experience,” said Vanessa Ogle, CEO of Enseo. “Gaylord Hotels’ goal is to exceed guest expectations and Enseo helps them do just that.”

Enseo began servicing the 2,100-room Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center located in Washington D.C. in mid 2015. Throughout the fall, the integrator steadily installed the remaining Gaylord Hotels properties, including the iconic Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, The Inn at Opryland, Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center, and ending with the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in late November. Employing its IP over Coax solution, iCuTM, Enseo’s E3® platform deployed all new services over existing COAX cable.

In a short period of time, Enseo was able to successfully install its platform in thousands of rooms, clearly demonstrating the platform’s proficiency and reliability.

Guest-enabled media, whether accessed subscription based services, or through personal devices, is now part of everyday life. Guests of Gaylord Hotels are now able to enjoy streaming services such as Netflix®, Hulu®, Pandora®, YouTube®, Crackle® as well as the option to connect their own devices and listen to their own music via Bluetooth accessible from the guest room TV. Gaylord Hotels guests are watching OTT streaming apps for more than 1,400 hours a day. These impressive numbers reinforce the top priorities for both Gaylord Hotels and Enseo: the most important content to our guest is the content the guest carries into the room with them.

“Enseo has shown they work hard to meet and exceed our guests’ needs and expectations,” said Mike Stengel, SVP of Gaylord Hotels Operations. “The feedback we have received from our hotel guests has been excellent and our staff found the installation and operation of the system to be outstanding.”
