(NAPA VALLEY, CA; October 5, 2016) — Flynn Properties Inc. announced the completion of its $9 million renovation at The Carneros Inn, a luxury 28-acre property in Napa Valley, and unveils a rebranding for the property as Carneros Resort and Spa.

This announcement follows the completion of its $6 million first phase of renovation in which Carneros Resort and Spa unveiled a number of property enhancements. These include the debut of a new wedding and events venue known as The Arbor, revitalization of the family pool, and a newly-built guest reception relocated near the fine-dining restaurant, FARM. FARM's agri-chic space was also remodeled with a new bar and outdoor terrace adorned with a fireplace, overhead heaters and stylish lounge furniture.

Additionally, the resort’s 86 cottages and 10 suites are more than halfway complete with a $3 million renovation program to reinvigorate the interiors with modernized furnishings and lighter color palettes to match the property's sun-washed, farm-style architecture. Carneros Resort and Spa also updated the names for all 17 cottage neighborhoods which now reflect local flora and fauna indigenous to the region, such as "lavender," "fig," and "juniper," among others.

The new name, Carneros Resort and Spa, reflects Flynn Properties' ongoing commitment to making the property the most luxurious and relaxing resort experience in California’s Wine Country. The word ‘carneros’ is Spanish for rams, and refers back to the earlier use of the area as grazing land for sheep. This historical connotation is featured by incorporating a ram’s head in the updated logo. A chic new website has also been launched to celebrate the change.

“We are pleased to announce the rebranding of Carneros Resort and Spa as it is a continuation of our ongoing efforts to revitalize the upscale property,” says Greg Flynn, founder, chairman and CEO of Flynn Properties. “The new name was created to reinforce and complement the property's distinct personality and ‘destination resort’ appeal in the highly regarded Carneros region.”
