CLEARWATER, Fla. (December 20, 2017) – The 287-room Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa has concluded an extensive, multi-million dollar renovation to its guest rooms, meeting and event spaces, and public areas. Guests will now enjoy a more modernized hotel incorporating updates to improve the overall guest experience, including refreshed interior décor and furniture, the addition of new room types, new food and beverage options like a 24-hour market, technology charging stations, and more.

In addition to 37 new suites, almost all of which include fully equipped kitchens and furnished balconies, the resort now offers guest rooms with balcony doors that open up to the pool deck, with varying space to allow families to choose a room that fits their needs. All suites have refreshed interiors, from bedding and furniture to art.

“We are thrilled to share our newly refreshed resort with guests and the community,” said General Manager, Chad Eding. “With our central location on one of the best beaches in the country, coupled with the amenities we’ve incorporated to cater to families and executive meetings, these thoughtful renovations will ensure our guests have only the best experience.”

The resort boasts multiple food and beverage options such as its full-service restaurant, SHOR American Seafood Grill, a poolside restaurant aptly named Swim Bar & Grill, and Skimmers Bar.

The renovations relocated Skimmers Bar to the inside of SHOR, providing breathtaking views of the beach through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Relocating Skimmers Bar allowed for the addition of a market-style concept with grab-and-go items.

Additionally, the resort has combined two meeting spaces – Belleair and Beach Club – into one 3,100 square-foot ballroom, called Belleair. This exclusive space features floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping views of Clearwater Beach, a balcony entrance, and private bathrooms to ensure the space remains separate from other parts of the hotel’s meeting spaces.

“Our newly designed Belleair Ballroom features stunning views of Clearwater Beach that other venues simply do not offer,” said Director of Sales and Marketing, Mary Reischmann. “From business meetings to small parties, event guests will feel like the only visitors on property due to the exclusivity of the new space."

Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa has also upgraded Bayview Room, an exclusive meeting space on the 8th floor that is perfect for executive summits, leadership retreats, and board meetings for up to 25 guests. The room is 700 square-feet and comes with a private pantry.
