NEW ORLEANS, LA — April 12, 2022 —Officials of Everwood Hospitality Partners (EHP), a leading hotel owner/operator with a growing portfolio of lifestyle, full- and select-service hotels nationwide, today announced the company has assumed management of the 184-room Troubadour Hotel New Orleans, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.

“As the Troubadour Hotel New Orleans enters the final stage of its $1.5 million renovation, the hotel has achieved a ‘like-new’ status that will attract area business and leisure travelers,” said Amit Patel, managing principal and chief operating officer, Everwood Hospitality Partners.  “With its unmatchable location in the heart of downtown New Orleans, the hotel is well positioned to serve the additional travelers brought into the Crescent City by the impending completion of the new North Terminal at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and Disney’s recently announced cruise port.  Pent-up travel demand finally is beginning to release as the pandemic appears to be on a downward trajectory.  The Troubadour Hotel New Orleans is poised to become the hotel of choice for upscale visitors in the Big Easy.”

Centrally located at 1111 Gravier Street, the four-star hotel is a short walk to the iconic French Quarter, Saenger Theatre, Bourbon Street, Caesars Superdome and the Smoothie King Center.  Hotel amenities include a 24/7 fitness center, complimentary Wi-Fi, nearly 1,400 square feet of meeting space and a state-of-the-art business center.  Guests are invited to dine at Jayne, the hotel’s casual, contemporary Southern cuisine restaurant, or visit the snack bar/deli for quick, grab ‘n go sandwiches and items.  The hotel also provides two bars/lounges.  Guest rooms are equipped with luxury bedding, 42” flat-screen television with premium cable channels, signature cocktail bar setup and specialty mini-bar, Bluetooth speaker, device charger and alarm clock.

The hotel is on pace to complete a major refurbishment this summer.  To date, the hotel has reinvigorated the lobby, enhancing the bar space on the first floor and integrating the Jayne Bistro into an activated layout.  The hotel is adding the finishing touches to the dining options and fitness areas.  Additionally, the company is finalizing plans to completely reconceive the hotel’s rooftop bar as an elevated indoor/outdoor space to take advantage of NOLA’s demand for year-round special events in a venue with one of the best views of the city.

“We continue to seek opportunities to grow our portfolio of managed hotels on both our own behalf and as a third-party operator,” said Amit Govin, managing principal and chief executive officer.  “We remain on track to double in size over the next three years.”
