IHG Hotels & Resorts has expanded its boutique lifestyle offering in the southern U.S. with the opening of Hotel Indigo Spring-Woodlands Area, the most recent project from Esperanto Developments, a leading hospitality management company. Welcoming guests with a warm and vibrant atmosphere, Hotel Indigo Spring-Woodlands Area takes its design cues from the local neighborhood.

Located in the flourishing community of Old Town Spring and the Woodlands, Hotel Indigo Spring-Woodlands Area is a prime destination for business and leisure travelers to discover the area’s distinctive architecture, quaint shops, cozy restaurants, local art galleries and endless outdoor activities.

Just as no two neighborhoods are alike, no two Hotel Indigo hotels are alike. Hotel Indigo Spring-Woodlands Area draws inspiration from the styles, sounds and flavors of the destination. Like its surroundings, the hotel reflects the Spanish Mission design – a manifestation of the influence of Catholic Dominican, Jesuit and Franciscan missionaries who came to trade and preach while introducing their own architectural flair. Earth tones and natural textures infused throughout the property, along with a shimmering gold bar façade, are a subtle homage to black gold, which was influential in the development and growth of the local neighborhood.

Brandon Kitchen, General Manager, Hotel Indigo Spring-Woodlands Area, commented on the opening:

“We are excited to offer a locally-inspired experience unlike anything that has been done before in the Spring-Woodlands area. Every detail, from our amenities to our service, has been carefully curated to reflect the local neighborhood. With our unique design and thoughtful touches taking cues from the local history, architecture, colors and culinary scene, we are able to provide guests a window to the neighborhood through our hotel that inspires them to explore it for themselves.”

The Hotel Indigo brand is loved for its unique restaurants and bars which are vibrant gathering spaces where guests and neighbors dine together. Crudo, the signature restaurant and bar, features a seasonal menu with craft cocktails and spotlights local musicians and vendors who will provide an element of surprise, discovery and entertainment. Throughout the hotel, the local community’s best flavors are incorporated into the guest experience with offerings such as locally-produced Katz coffee, 8th Wonder Brewery’s nostalgic brews and Breggy Bomb Salsa, founded by Alex Bregman of the Houston Astros.

The hotel features 103 stylish guestrooms, each with distinctive artwork that offers something new to experience with every return. Four generously-sized suites have a living area and wet bar as well as a separate bedroom and spa-like ensuite bathroom. Additional property highlights include a lakeside pool with its own bar, an on-site fitness center and a private event space.

There are currently 129 Hotel Indigo properties open globally, including the recently opened Hotel Indigo Miami Brickell and Hotel Indigo Columbus at Riverfront Place in Georgia, with another 116 in the pipeline to open in the next three to five years.
