December 5, 2018—Endeavor Hospitality Group, a New York-based hotel management company centered around innovation, culture and personal experiences, announced today the appointment of Shannon Colbert as vice president of sales and marketing. Colbert joined the team in early 2018 and is accountable for all areas of sales, marketing, revenue generation and revenue management for the hospitality group and its properties. She is based out of the company’s Midtown Manhattan headquarters.

A seasoned industry leader, Shannon spent five years as the director of sales and marketing for Hazens Group, Pyramid Hotels, a hotel group with over 100 hotels and resorts under their hotel and asset management umbrella. During her time there, Shannon opened and repositioned the Four-diamond Luxe City Center Hotel as a chic boutique hotel in a then fledgling Downtown Los Angeles. Shannon had previously honed her hospitality skills in a senior management capacity with Viceroy Hotel Group’s Avalon Beverly Hills, and The Ambrose Collection in Santa Monica. She began her hospitality career as a regional group sales manager for Bacara Resort and Spa in Santa Barbara, California.

Shannon graduated from University of Southern California with a degree in Communication, going on to earn a master’s degree in Psychology from Phillips Graduate University. While originally a California-native, Shannon has taken quickly to life in the Big Apple. Merging a laid-back approach from her West Coast roots with the East Coast hustle and bustle she loves, Shannon is thrilled to call the city she frequented for many years ‘home.’ In her spare time, Shannon enjoys spending hours exploring Manhattan’s inventive culinary scene and visiting a variety of farmers markets to gather the freshest local ingredients for her home cooking. Passionate about the intersection of fashion, cuisine, art and culture so uniquely New York, she is reenergized by her surroundings, which serve as a strong influence for everything she does both in and out of work.
