TUCSON, Ariz.— October 2, 2018 — Chef Barry Bennett has been named executive chef of DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Tucson – Reid Park, located in Tucson, Arizona.

Chef Bennett brings 34 years of culinary experience to his role, with training from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America and a wealth of hospitality expertise. He has served as an executive chef working with a number of leading hotel brands, including DoubleTree by Hilton, Radisson, Crowne Plaza and Hotel Indigo.

As an executive and corporate chef, Chef Bennett has catered for a star-studded list of political figures and celebrities, including former presidents, TV hosts and musicians.

On Oct. 4, Chef Bennett will debut menu items from Crystals, the newest dining experience at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Tucson – Reid Park, at the 15th annual Flavors of Tucson culinary event. Chef Bennett will appear alongside 22 of Tucson’s premier chefs to create an evening of exquisite food and fine wines celebrating the city’s cuisine.

Crystals is one of many new additions to DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Tucson – Reid Park, managed by California-based Marin Management, Inc. The hotel is currently undergoing a $16 million renovation to enhance the hotel’s lobby, bar, two restaurants, 400-person ballroom, meeting rooms and courtyards. The renovation expands to the exterior with plush new landscaping and features, a new porte-cochère, exterior paint and improvements to the hotel’s expansive pool area. Renovations to the hotel’s guest rooms will be completed in early 2019.
