SHREVEPORT, La., Dec. 19, 2016– Homewood Suites by Hilton Shreveport has named a new general manager after undergoing renovations of its guest suites.

Emma Hebert will take the reins at the Shreveport, Louisiana hotel managed by Dimension Development Company. The native of Cambridge, England has lived in the United States for just over five years and has an extensive history in the hospitality industry. She has previously served as a general manager for brands including Wyndham and Marriott before arriving at Hilton.

"I am thrilled to be joining such a beautiful hotel and can't wait to lead the way in offering an unforgettable experience to our guests through standards, service and a little personality along the way," Hebert said. "I believe that bringing fun into the workplace will make my team feel even more valuable, which in turn gives them the confidence to serve our guests with even more dedication."

Hebert's last hotel was ranked in the top 2 percent of the brand when it came to service, an accomplishment that she said she is very proud of.

When not working, Hebert enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two children, ages 5 and 7, while working hard to maintain her English accent that is slowly giving way to a Southern twang.
