How to Develop Effective Messaging with Minimal Resources

AtlantaDigital Signage Expo (DSE), the world’s largest international tradeshow and educational conference dedicated to digital displays, interactive technology and digital communications networks, announced today that its 24-part Digital Signage Seminar Program at DSE 2016 designed specifically for end users will include an hour-long session titled, “Nuts and Bolts of Managing Content: Tips and Tricks for Effective Digital Signs with Minimal Resources.”

Dr. Jared Padgett, Manager of Web Development and Digital Media for Pepperdine University School of Law and Michael Juarez, Web/Media Developer at University of San Francisco will co-present a session on how to leverage existing content sources and communications technologies to add an extra dimension and deeper functionality to content development. They will explain how an effective device management strategy can help facilitate content management across multiple devices and locations as well as provide real-world examples of tools you can use to get your network up and running.

DSE Advisory Board members recently had the opportunity to comment on this timely topic and offered a variety of interesting insights, including the following sampling of responses:

“The secret to effective content creation on a modest budget is TRUST. Trust begins with a great team leader who is adept at navigating relationship quirks, as well as steering individuals to ideas and attitudes to support the creative objectives.”

Adam Feldman, Executive Director of Guest Media Technology at MGM Resorts International

“Ask providers to bundle/include a certain number of free content updates for the site on an annual basis. And ensure that the provider has an easy-to-use and intuitive content management system that is supplemented with online learning.”

Rich Morris, Director of Global Hotel & Resort Operations Systems at Hilton Worldwide
