To be Owned by HRC Hotels, LLC and Managed by Good Hospitality Services, Inc.

MCLEAN, Va. – Sept. 24, 2014 – Hilton Worldwide today announced the signing of a new Home2 Suites by Hilton hotel to be developed within the former Consolidated Building. Home2 Suites by Hilton is an award-winning mid-tier, all-suite hotel brand designed for modern business travelers and extended stay guests. The hotel, which will be owned by HRC Hotels, LLC and managed by Good Hospitality Services, Inc., will be the first Home2 Suites property in Indiana and demonstrates the brand’s commitment to expanding in urban markets and utilizing innovative building models.

Downtown Indianapolis was named one of the Top 10 Best Downtowns 2014, coming in third on the list from Livability.com. Earlier in the year, the city was also named one of the 52 Places to Go in 2014 by The New York Times and the Best Convention City by 10Best.com, and Indianapolis International Airport was recognized as the Best Airport in North America by the Airports Council International.

“Visitors to Indianapolis want to be in the center of it all, and the new downtown Home2 Suites will help meet the growing demand for modern accommodations in the city’s urban core,” said Bill Duncan, global head, Home2 Suites and Homewood Suites. “Our flexible prototype allows developers to take advantage of opportunities like this one, retrofitting an existing building with our hotel and introducing our unique and sustainable approach to business and leisure travelers.”

The hotel will feature 102 suites on seven floors, and will be located within the annex of the Consolidated Building, which was built in the 1950’s and most recently housed offices and retail spaces. It will complement the new apartments, retail and restaurant spaces being planned for the remainder of the historic site.

“Travelers visiting Indianapolis will now have a new option to meet their extended stay needs that puts them close the major businesses and attractions in and around downtown,” said Dale Johns, regional vice president of operations, Good Hospitality Services. “We look forward to restoring the Consolidated Building to bring travelers a new, comfortable lodging option in our city.”

The hotel will be located close to businesses and attractions within the city’s urban center and top tourist destinations like the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Indianapolis Zoo and Lucas Oil Stadium. Construction is expected to begin in 2015 with the property opening in 2016.

Guests staying with Home2 Suites will experience easy access to technology, inviting community spaces, and trademark Home2 Suites amenities standard in all properties such as the Oasis lobby area, the Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, and the Spin2 Cycle a combined laundry and fitness area. A complimentary continental breakfast will be available at the Inspired Table that includes a variety of morning favorites made from all-natural ingredients like artisan sandwiches. All Home2 Suites by Hilton properties are pet-friendly.
