ESTES PARK, Colo. (June 8, 2017) – Delaware North, one of the largest privately held hospitality and food service companies in the world, today announced the opening of The Ridgeline Hotel Estes Park near Rocky Mountain National Park.

The property, formerly known as the Rocky Mountain Park Inn, was acquired by Delaware North in November 2016. The hotel closed for more than six months while undergoing extensive interior renovations and reopened for guests on May 27.

The Ridgeline Hotel’s new rustically modern design features an open layout, creating a contemporary gathering space where guests can enjoy a relaxing getaway complete with refined amenities. Delaware North’s design team completely updated the signature restaurant, lobby, guest rooms and indoor heated pool and hot tub. Brand new additions to the property include a state-of-the-art fitness center, gaming area and lobby elevator for easier room access.

The hotel’s newly renovated restaurant and bar, Latitude 105 Alehouse, has also reopened under Executive Chef Jacob Tew. Tew and his team have built the restaurant’s new regionally inspired menu menu around a signature item: gourmet burgers. Local ingredients and suppliers are also on the menu, including Denver-based Harvest Moon Baking Company bread, plus Colorado-sourced meats and ice cream. The restaurant features 12 regional beers on tap and two of its own exclusive wines, Twin Owls White and Rocky Mountain Red.

“Delaware North is proud of this investment in creating what is essentially a new hotel in The Ridgeline Hotel Estes Park,” said Scott Socha, president of Delaware North’s parks and resorts business. “We are thrilled to be reopening the property’s doors to guests so they can enjoy a premier lodging experience while exploring Rocky Mountain National Park.”

The Ridgeline Hotel Estes Park features more than 10,000 square feet of conference, meeting and banquet space that can accommodate up to 1,000 guests and is attached to The Estes Park Conference Center, providing additional space for even larger events.

The properties are located a few miles from both the Beaver Meadows and Fall River entrance stations to Rocky Mountain National Park. Rocky Mountain National Park is the nation’s third most visited national park, drawing more than four million visitors annually. Estes Park is the primary gateway community to the park, with 80 percent of the park’s visitors traveling through its entrance gates. The park stretches more than 415 square miles, encompassing spectacular mountain environments and more than 300 miles of hiking trails, wildflowers and wildlife.

With the addition of The Ridgeline Hotel Estes Park, Delaware North now owns and/or operates more than 30 lodging properties throughout the United States and in Australia.
