Clear Sky Software, Inc. ® announced today that the Detroit Marriott Troy Hotel is up and running on Clear Sky Software’s beverage inventory control system.  This hotel selected Clear Sky Software to help control all beer, liquor and wine inventory.  Called Clear Sky BEVERAGE, this system is a comprehensive, perpetual inventory system that tracks and controls all beverage products.  Functions include purchasing, receiving, outlet transfers/issues/returns and physical inventory.  Also installed is Clear Sky’s Interface to Fintech’s Payment Source program.   The Fintech interface streamlines the beverage product receiving process, eliminates many data entry tasks, and provides automatic cost updating in the Clear Sky system.  Additional features allow management to report product fast-movers, slow- movers, cost variances, and order/vendor discrepancies.  An expanded event management module is also part of the core system installed at the Marriott.  This bar code-based software, hardware, and services combination is helping The Detroit Marriott Troy manage their entire beverage inventory with more efficiency and maintain lower beverage costs.
