Laguna Beach, Calif. (February 25, 2016) – Casey Graves has been named general manager of The Inn at Laguna Beach with oversight of nearby sister property, Laguna Beach House, both owned and operated by Classic Hotels & Resorts.

Mr. Graves brings extensive experience in all aspects of the hospitality industry to his new role in Laguna Beach. Most recently, he served as general manager of The Wayfarer in Santa Barbara, leading the resort’s pre-opening phase, including recruiting, developing customer service strategies and implementing creative guest programming. Prior to that, Mr. Graves served as general manager of the historic Hidden Inn in the Catskill Mountains. During his time there, he oversaw all operations for lodging, as well as the restaurant, tavern and events business. He also has several years’ experience as manager within the Hostelling International USA organization, where he started his career in hospitality.

In his current role with Classic Hotels & Resorts, Mr. Graves will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the two Laguna Beach boutique hotels. Just in time for peak season this summer, The Inn at Laguna Beach will unveil expanded offerings and activities, both on-site and nearby the property, allowing guests to truly experience life as a local through various beachfront activities, downtown exploration just beyond the hotel’s doorstep and more.

The Inn at Laguna Beach is perched above the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with arguably the best location in town, right off Main Beach and walking distance to downtown’s galleries, shops, restaurants, etc. The property, which was fully renovated in 2012, features 70 guest rooms, many with private outdoor balconies and stunning ocean views. The rooftop Pacific Terrace is the perfect vantage point for soaking up Laguna’s breathtaking sunsets.

Two blocks north, Laguna Beach House reflects the laid-back California vibe with coastal-inspired décor and vintage surf and skate memorabilia throughout, including surfboards above the beds and G&S skateboards acting as towel racks. A chalkboard in the lobby displays the daily surf report, and surfboards are available for purchase on-site. The 36-room boutique surf lodge, which opened in April 2015, is also walking distance to downtown Laguna and Main Beach, providing guests the perfect escape for a relaxing seaside getaway.

A native of Los Angeles, Mr. Graves is a graduate of San Francisco State University with a degree in English Literature. He currently resides in Costa Mesa and in his free time enjoys hiking with his dog, playing tennis and exploring the diverse dining scene in Orange County.
